As much as I love a dress, separates is usually a go to for me. I volunteered at a Gala and needed to wear something comfortable. But at the same time I wanted to create a garment that I could repurpose.
I used Simplicity Jiffy 1364 view B for the top. This is a nice simple pattern, omitted the back zipper. Used a beautiful stretch lace with sequence.
For the skirt I used the regal skirt tutorial from Mimi G, made it without the sash. Used a satin blend fabric.
I love this two pieces and will use over and over again!
